FACTS:
Stock FPS: 440 fps with 0.20g BBB's.
Metal gerbox with 7mm bearings.
Built-in mosfet, and a very good one.
8.4v 1250mAh mini battery.
ADVANTAGES:
Bullpup design, the inner barrel is long enough to give you extreme accuracy in such "short" gun (80 cm long).
I cannot tell if inner barrel is bore tight or not, I have not measured it, but I can tell you it is very accurate.
Very simple battery replacement, just remove butt stock (rubber) and that's it, no screwdriver/tool needed, just your fingers.
No semi/full auto selector, trigger mid-way back is semi, trigger all-way back is full auto. Hey, for me is an advantage, maybe someone thinks it's a drawback.
VERY easy dissasembly system. Just remove one piece (again, no tools needed) and you can remove front-ris/inner barrel/outer barrel/hop up (all attached). If you want to see the gearbox, then you'll need the screwdriver (3 or 4 screws, no more).
No wobbles AT ALL (ok, the mag wobbles a bit when inserted, but I think that's inevitable, even in real guns).
The stock is really comfortable to aim (the place you rest your face).
You can attach everything you want at the same time (scope, flashlight, laser and foregrip at this time in mine).
DRAWBACKS:
Quite heavy, not recommended for those ones that like light guns.
No foregrip included, and believe me, this gun needs it. For me, this is an advantage, because you can use any foregrip you want (I recommend the bipod one), and a non-stock foregrip will not wobble at all.
A little noisy (at least compared with my friends' M4 and SCAR). No drawback for me ;)
For the most purists here, it is not the exact shape of the real Steyr AUG A3, it's very similar, but not the same.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
The flip-up "iron sights" (plastic sights, in fact) are very useful. All reviews I've seen tell you to throw them away, but if you calibrate them well, they'll work perfectly well. Keep them (and use them) as long as you don't get yourself another aiming device.
If you want to use a larger battery, some dremel work is needed, the 8.4 mini battery and mosfet fill all the space.
Weight is mostly in the front, not in the back as in A1 and A2 versions (quite heavy rail, you know).
And finally, it's look. It's unique. You can love it or hate it. What is for sure is that you won't see a lot of them in playfields like other guns (M4/M16, AK's... etc).
MY PERSONAL OPINION:
I think this is a great gun. The mosfet and bearings will assure you long life for your gearbox. Accuracy is excellent, look is fantastic, handling is comfortable, upgrading is unlimited.... This is a great gun, absolutely recommended, especialy if you want to have a different look in the field.
I hope you can make a better decission with this info!
